The weather tomorrow. I expect a biting cold front. Hmmm, how naughty. I wonder what I'll be wearing or taking off. The night will be wild and untamed. Expect heavy lashing rain that'll soak you to the skin. By Monday, temperatures will rise slowly but surely, reaching their peak in the afternoon. Not in the mood for miserable weather, Fly cheaply to Turkey with sun Express, Sun Express, non stop sunshine. Good. So I look up and I see a group of men tapping on the glass just outside of the bay windows within our living room, and they were absolutely translucent. Welcome to tell Me a Ghost Story. The late night call in podcast where we delve into the world of the supernatural and explore the eerie and unexplained. I'm your host, Michelle Newman. This podcast features true stories from our callers that will send shivers down your spine and leave you questioning the existence of the afterlife. So grab a cozy blanket, turn down the lights. Hey, Michelle, it's Brady. I have a guest story. So I was. Woken up from a pretty terrible dream. I was at the top of my bunk bed, crawled out of my bunk bed in anticipation to go up to my parents' room. The problem is we had to cross through down a long hall and a living room in order to get to the base of the staircase that led to my parents' suite upstairs. And I began kind of walking down the hallway and stopped at our front door, and just as I was about to enter into the living room, I felt I felt like I was being watched. So I look up and I see a group of men tapping on the glass just outside of the bay windows within our living room, and they were absolutely translucent. I couldn't tell at first if it was just like my imagination kind of building, but I looked up again and it was just like it was so clear that they were not human, like there were people, but they were translucent men, and they were all peering in with their hands pressed against their cheeks, looking into the living room, staring at me. It was a group of four men pressed against the window, and one man that was kind of like straggling along in the back pushing his bike. It was just like such an odd like coupling of people but clearly not there, like I could tell that they were ghosts. Like, but it was the tapping kind of like up against the window, like hey, like they knew they were speaking to me. It wasn't a general knock, you know. And I immediately fall to my knees because my knees and feet had begun to like feel like sandbags, like just so heavy in my body. So I fell to my knees and began to crawl again across the living room floor, and I could see them in the corner of my eye peeking at me and tapping on the window. And as I finally got to the base of the stairs of my parents' stairway, I charged up the stairs and we looked out the bedroom window and found nobody there. There's nobody in the driveway, nobody for a long way, and there's no way that they could have escaped without being seen at some point. Thank you, Brittany, and I'll be closing my curtains from now on. Oh hey, Michelle, this is Jimmy, and I got a little story for you. I've been working in paranormal on paranormal TV shows for the last three to five years, and I've definitely seen some stuff out there. I'm not necessarily a believer myself. But I'm a skeptic, but I have seen a few things and experience a few things, And I will tell you my favorite story. This was maybe my second episode on my first paranormal show, and we were in Chicago at all to tattoo shop. Now, usually before our psychic comes in and does that everything, we need to make sure everything's completely blacked out, power shut off and all that. And my producer that I worked with had this issue where he'd always end up locking keys in a van, So right before psychic showed up, he locked the keys in the van. So we were scrambling to try to get into the van. So I went looking for something to maybe wedge the door to get in. So I went down to the basement of this old tattoo shop. And while I was down there, I had just my small flashlight. The lights are completely out. I'm looking through stuff looking for a hammer or anything that I could wedge, and all of a sudden, my coworker came down and he came by me and kind of said, hey, let me go in there. So I backed up out of the way, and when I backed up, I felt like I literally stepped on somebody's toes. Like if somebody was standing directly behind you. Say you're at a concert and you're in the pit. You're standing and you back up, and all of a sudden you just stepped on somebody's toes. Where I felt myself go up that I stepped on somebody's toes and then somebody pushed me in my back and to the point where I went, WHOA, what was that? So then I and he turned to me, he goes what And I was like, oh, nothing, And I turned my flashlight around to see if there was maybe a pipe or something I backed into maybe or anything like that, and I couldn't see anything. So for at second I was like, Okay, that was really strange. And then all of a sudden on the radio, I hear them who So I just kind of brushed it off. I was like, oh, that's nothing. So then I went upstairs and I went out to the van and continued my work while the psychic went through and I was sitting there thinking, I was like, what just happened down there? I was like, I definitely got pushed. I felt something in my back like somebody was like get off my feet and kind of pushed me away, and then come to find out when the psychic swa up through there that the stairwell going down to where the basement was was this like supernatural highway basically that kind. Of where all these people were going through. So I don't know if I conjured up something like that, but being down there and just kind of in their space, but that was probably one of the only times that I was like, wait a minute, what just happened. Thank you Jimmy for your story. Weird fact, if you google Haunted Tattoo Parlor, you get three point one million results with shops from all over the country. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but it certainly makes me think twice about getting a tattoo. Hi, Michelle the Amari Again, I have like a hiking story. When I was. Twenty, I went through It's really. Nice to break up, moved cross country to live with a lot of my life how to move back so this didn't work out. When I got home, I moved and much a friend, but obviously wanted my. Family around, and my mom and my sister are huge hikers, so we went to hike, you know, just to get our heads cleared, and for. Some reason feel like we need to do something big to get over, you know, heartbreak. So we hiked for a good like six to seven hours. In our local area. There's trails you can do easy, moderate, or hard, and we did the hard and we made it out to lookout so we I think it was like four hours up one way or four hours out. But we went there like super early in the morning, before the sun even came up. So you know, we're having a good time talking and joining the views. You know, I felt really better after the whole breakup and everything and just spending time with my family. We spend too much time on the outlook. So we saw like the sun was going down. It was the sunset was beautiful, but we had to like get going, so we were going. We took the easy trail back. When we were going back, we were my mom was like, oh, imagine if something happened, you know, we are in the mountains and we're all like stop, we don't say stuff like that. And we heard drums. We heard drums like banging, and we. Were like do you hear that? Like we were all laughing, and then we're like do you hear that? And we were all like we wanted to acknowledge it, but at the same time, we're like, why drums, Like mind you we had to drive all the way up to this place, like there's nothing for miles and you know, like we wouldn't hear it super strong, but we heard it light light enough to know that it was in the distance. So my mom was like, well, maybe you know someone else is having like a redemption moment and you know, they want to play the drums as the sun goes down, so we're trying to validate it. We keep going on our way out, it got kind of dark where we kind of couldn't see the trail anymore. We had like flashlights and stuff, and the drums got louder, so we were like, what's weird, But like again, we acknowledged it, but we just kept going like they Later that night, because we got home late, we went to like. McDonald we ate. We came back home, I researched the trail we were on the mountain that we were on. A website came up and it actually brought up like a myth about since we were like on Indian ground. The mountain was named after an Indian tribe of the area. There about a woman who at the tip of the top of the outlook. Was murdered killed she I think it relieves her husband went up there with her and a brawl happened, and because she was like her husband, they killed. Her as well and her husband. So the legend goes is. That she plays the drum to try to find her husband. Like this was a makeshift website, Like it really looked like something some student. Made out of, like as a school project. But a lot of websites do have the myth of the woman, but instead like they. Have the drums. But most of the website state that if you stay out long enough on the outlook all the way at the titby top, you will see her. Floating around looking for her her lost husband that was murdered. Thank you for your story, Mari. I don't know what's more scary, the thought of it being paired or normal, or stumbling across a group of random people drumming in the woods at night. I was on a road trip with my high school boyfriend. We'd stopped at a Best Western in Fresno, California. It's still there by the way. That night, when I was drifting off to sleep, I was laying on my back and I opened my eyes just a little bit, and right in front of my face, nose to nose, I saw a man hovering over me. And then in a split second, he was gone. I jumped in the bed, you know when you fall in a dream and you you shake the whole bed. My high school boyfriend was like, are you okay? And I was like, oh yeah, I thought I just saw a person hovering over me and just laughed it off. I mean, it must have been a dream. It was just weirdly intense. Then he said, I thought I just saw a person hovering over me. And then we both just sat there in silence for a few minutes, and then I got up and turned on the bathroom light and we slept with that light on the rest of the night. Hello. My name is Alana. I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. So I have this story from those sixteen I am now thirty six. I went to go visit my biological mom who was living in Lrange, Saskatchewan. So I took a Greyhounds. Took me about two days to get there, from Edmonton, Alberta to Lorange. I get there and I get there. It's a nice little white house just the main floor and the basement. All right, look in the backyard it has like a chain like fence, and on the other side of it is like little like a little forest of trees, and it's pretty big, like big when you're small. And it was just like, you know, a space between houses and stuff. So I ended up liking it and I was like, oh right. I was like, it's nice of the house. Anyways, So one day I was sitting downstairs, middle of summer, it was super hot. Didn't think nothing of it. This ball comes really out very slowly, so I'm like, okay, all right, and didn't think nothing of it because you know, like no one was like I wasn't really creeped out about stuff, you know, I don't know. A couple of days go by, I was sitting on the couch a number down there, and I'm watching something on the TV on this like the left side of my peripherals. I see someone kind of slouching down and trying to sneak by me ever so slightly. So I'm thinking, boom, these are this is my brothers because I had it was my sister, my mom, and my two little brothers that lived there and their stepdad it was not my stepdad but their stepdad any who. So I'm like waiting for them to like pop out and scare me. I just kind of figure it as my little brothers, because you know, we'd always pop out and scare each other in time they could. So I'm like sitting there and no one comes. I'm like bracing, like any second they're gonna go wow. But nothing happened. So I get up and I just go look right, and I'm like looking around and now no one's down here. So I call up to my sister and I'm like Allie and she's like yeah, I'm like Kelvin and Matthew here and she's like no, they're outside, And oh my god, I got the chills. I was so scared, like you know when you have that fight or flight. I just couldn't even move at all, like I was was. I took everything and me just kept go upstairs because they're just creeping out so bad. Anyways, So I go upstairs and one night I am just like I go to bed and all of a sudden, I wake up and there's this little boy leaning over me and he's like, hey, why do you crys the mush night and the reason why I was crying is because I was lonely, but no one ever seen me so but this little boy, like little dark brown hair, brown eyes, he was just staring at me, and I started again. I started crying, like and I was so scared, but I could not move. But I was like, I could hear my sister beside me, like she was sleeping. I could hear her snaring. I end up closing my eyes and I was like, go away, you're not real, You're not real. Go away. And I could move again, and my sister like she nudged me, and I was just crying. And it took me a while to console me because I was actually really scared. Anyways, the next day, my mom and my sister sit me down and she was telling me that years and years ago, in the same house, there used to be a family that lived there that had a little boy and there are these bad neighbor kids that two of them they took him and they took him through the back of the little forest I was telling you guys about trees, and they tortured and they killed him. And if you search it in Laurent, Saskatchewan, on Sinat Crescent, An exact same house. That's where he stayed, and you can read about in the paper. It was really sad. They did really bad things to him. And yeah, he was like growing six or seven. He was exactly the boy that I see. Yeah, I've just always had weird stuff happened to me like that. I guess could people say you're gifted, you know, but you can see things like that. But for a while, I was always scared to sleep because once that happened, it's like it opened up something to another. The time is when I was around seventeen or seventeen or eighteen, and I'm laying in my bed in my house. I go back, I'm living in Edmonton again and just laying there and my cook them, which is Grandma and Cree. Because I'm Native American or Indigenous. I passed away probably when I was around twelve, eleven, thirteen, I can't remember teenager ish. Anyways, I'm laying in the room Monday, and I wasn't feeling good, so I'm just landing on my side. I could see my mom on the phone laying on my side looking out of my bedroom. Get see her on the phone and she's talking. All of a sudden it happens again. I realized, Oh shoot, I can't move again. The room goes just the room just goes like lighter and brighter, and all of a sudden, I've shifted my eyes downwards the end of my bed, and I had a rocking chair in my room, and in the rocking chair in my room was my cook. I'm sitting there and her flowery dresses she used to wear in two braids, parting on each side. I look at her, you know, in my mind, I know she is gone. She's not here, and I got scared of her. I kind of feel bad because maybe that's not what she was like, you know, hoping for me to do. But I'm I'm like trying to make myself up to be able to move. Although I can still hear my mom and I can still hear everything, And all of a sudden she's come. She gets up and she starts walking towards me, and I feel like warmth on my shoulder where she touches me with her hand, and I closed my eyes and I'm just praying to wake up, like to be able to move again. It wasn't a dream. I was fully like awake when it happened like I wasn't half asleep, and all of a sudden, like I just as soon as I could move again, the room just went, like, you know, back to being like just how normally was It wasn't like a bright and goldie. It was just normal. And I went told my mom and I was crying. I was like, Mom was like, kukam was just here. She sat in that chair right there. She was looking at me. Oh my god, I got the chills right now. Anyways, I was like, she's not cheer. She came in. Well, she said something in cree Oh yeah, that's right. She said something creating. I don't know. I don't speak creey, so but that's how she spoke. She spoke very little English. So I'm like, super scared, probably my mom this and she starts crying and I'm just like, you know, I it was a scary thing. Then look, I have a bunch more stories to Some of them are really saw and then they're really rude, and yeah, I'll send as more if you guys. Look. Anyways, thank you. Thank you for your story, Elena.
